Look in any yoga magazine and there are multiple advertisements for high-end yoga wear, all specially designed for the serious yogi. The truth is, while those fashions are attractive and do have their merits, they are not necessary.

It is yogi s or yogin s. Females, practicing yoga, are called yogini s, or also yoginies . These terms are commonly used to describe only those persons, who are highly accomplished in one or many arts of yoga.
